    Decarbonisation

We are fully aligned with the shipping industry’s commitment to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by implementing recommended measures, exploring innovative technologies, and partnering with stakeholders who share our decarbonization vision. To support this commitment, we monitor emissions through advanced telemetry systems, produce transparent and auditable environmental reports, and enhance fleet efficiency through operational strategies such as speed optimization, regular hull and propeller cleaning, energy conservation initiatives, optimized diesel generator (DG) usage, and the use of shaft generators where applicable.

    Digitalisation

Lavinia Tankers is advancing its digital transformation by developing a fleet-wide, automated data communication infrastructure that continuously collects and transmits high-dimensional ship data to Headquarters as actionable insights. Using open-architecture platforms with wireless sensors and advanced knowledge management systems, the company enables remote monitoring and real-time analysis of vessel performance and condition. These tools enhance technical visibility, reduce operational risk, and support better decision-making through optimized maintenance, scheduling, and resource allocation.

By securely integrating data from diverse onboard systems, Lavinia Tankers improves situational awareness and operational control, especially in demanding conditions, ensuring safety and reliability across its fleet. Combining data intelligence with strong maritime expertise, the company drives performance, sustainability, and cost efficiency while embracing the smart shipping era. Its goal is to make data-driven operations standard practice, contributing to a more efficient, environmentally responsible, and future-ready maritime industry.
